Ilfracombe Star Trek night walk, charity fundraising event

Ilfracombe Rotary Clubs
StarTrek Charity Night Walk on Exmoor

Do you like a challenge?

Would you like to take part in one of the biggest charity fundraising events of the year supporting:
Childrens Hospice South West
The North Devon Hospice

Could you organise a team of 4-6 enthusiastic like minded people to raise sponsorship money to support these and other important local charities?

Could you with your friends take part in the Ilfracombe Rotary Club charity walk trekking approximately 16 miles across Exmoor at night with the help of your compass, a map and the stars?

You will have the support on the night of the Ilfracombe Rotary Clubs, St John’s Ambulance and Raynet assisted search and rescue. You are therefore totally safe. In the morning when you finish, the freshly cooked breakfast with piping hot tea or coffee will taste better than it ever has.

The exhilaration that you will experience on completing this very worthwhile challenge will stay with you for all time.

What will you be doing on the night of
Saturday March 5th 2011?

Provisional bookings for team entries are already being taken, so enter now to avoid dissapointment. By entering now, you will have plenty of time to get those essential sponsors that makes this event such a success. We look forward to hearing from you.

John Stainer, StarTrek ChairmanHi Startrekkers. The 2011 venue has been selected and the walks are being planned. The site has also been inspected to plan all the equipment to run the event. The StarTrek team look forward to meeting you. In the meanwhile go out and get sponsored as every penny goes to good causes, mainly to both our local hospices. We are looking for a record year.

Our thanks to Devon Outdoor & Camping Supplies for their support on the night. They are enthusiastic to be involved next year.Devon Outdoor & Camping, Bear St. Barnstaple
